This week in Nursery the children learnt about habitats. They were given a challenge of trying to find a suitable habitat for a rabbit. The children thought about what type of habitat a rabbit would need and looked around the school environment to try and find the best place. The children decided that a rabbit might like the woodland area. They had lots of fun exploring the woodland area and also went on a minibeast hunt. We talked about the importance of caring for animals and so the children made bird feeders. They hung their bird feeders in the woodland area and loved coming back the following day to see if they had been eaten by animals.
