Our Topic this term is Mexico and the Mayans and the children spent their Geography lesson using Atlas’s to find out where Mexico is in the world and what some of the surrounding countries are. We spoke about the lines of longitude and latitude in an Atlas and how we can use these to identify the location of different countries in the world.
In Science we are starting to look at properties of materials and the children spent their first Science lesson analysing a range of kitchen utensils and discussing the materials they had been made out of.
