We have had a super first week back in Reception. We have begun our new ‘Sports’ topic, in preparation for Sports Day next week. In their writing, the children wrote sentences about their favourite sport and they used ‘because’ to explain why they like it. In Maths we have been learning about shapes and we have explored the properties of 2D and 3D shapes.
Thank you for helping your children complete their homework over the half term. This week our homework is to talk about different sports and have a go at some sports over the weekend. Take a picture and upload it on our tapestry for our sports display. As always please continue practising your counting and recognising numbers to 20.
