This week, Year 1 were lucky enough to have a special visitor, Steven Lenton. Steven is the illustrator of the best-selling Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam series. Steven was kind enough to read the same books he illustrates to the whole of Year 1. Children were able to experience illustrating a character, following Steven’s instructions on the stage. Year 1 were fantastically engaged throughout the whole afternoon and we discovered that we have some talented illustrators amongst us in St Josephs.
