Our first full week in year 5 and the first topics of the year are now underway! In English, we continued to work with our focus text, ‘The Promise’, and explored a character’s actions and motives through drama.
We also took on the roles of attackers and defenders in PE in our first tag rugby session!
In honour of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, we devoted a page of our topic book to her life and included key events on a timeline.
On Tuesday, the children celebrated their postponed Holy Communion Mass. It was a wonderful celebration and the children sung beautifully. A special well done to our readers.
