Wow! What a momentous week in Year 2!
Unfortunately the weather man was not on our side to go to the beach, instead we had the BEST day in school with our friends and had lots of fun (and delicious ice cream and treats!!!).
In English this week we have started our research for a newspaper report, which is linked to our topic work about the significant event of Neil Armstrong’s expedition to the moon! We presented our findings to the class and we will be ready to write some fantastic newspaper reports for our final piece of writing in Year 2, how exciting!!
We also had our final music lesson of the year! We have learnt a plethora of songs, rhymes and actions! We enjoyed finding different beats and rhythms with different parts of our bodies and look forward to continuing our music journey into Year 3!
