This week at St Joseph’s we have celebrated lots of exciting things.
On Shrove Tuesday we wore our house colours to school and had pancake races in the playground. This was lots of fun!
On Ash Wednesday we received our ashes from the Pupil Chaplains. This was an opportunity for us to reflect on the season of Lent that was beginning.
Thursday was World Book Day and an opportunity for us to come to school as our favourite book characters. There were lots of amazing costumes and we enjoyed discussing who our favourite book characters were and why. The winning costumes in Year 2 were Jessica and Milo.
Today Yellow Class performed their assembly on India. It was a fantastic assembly that took us on a journey through India. We learnt about Indian culture, religion and history.
