What a busy yet exciting week it has been for our Year 4 children!
In writing, we have been imagining that we have transported into the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe story book as we discovered Narnia through writing thought monologues. In Maths, the children completed the decimal topic and have now moved onto all things money!
On Wednesday, we were treated to a memorable afternoon. Not only did our children enjoy planting sunflower seeds with our gardening team, but they also met two Commonwealth gold medalists! As you can see from the images below, it wasn’t all easy, as our children were put through their paces as during the 10 minute intensive workout! As the children caught their breath, they heard inspirational stories and even caught a glimpse of the actual gold medals! We hope that it will be our children returning to schools to share their success stories in years to come.
