Easter Celebration Assembly

On Thursday morning we gathered together in the KS2 Hall to celebrate all the academic and sporting achievements of the children.

We started our celebration assembly by awarding children who teachers had identified had made outstanding progress in Mathematics, we then moved on to celebrating pupils who had demonstrated all 5 ‘Characteristics of Effective Learning’ this term which are:

Motivation, concentration, working with others, thinking critically and finding out and exploring.

We then awarded our ‘Young Speakers’ award and Mr Prescott highlighted our sporting achievements.  We ended our assembly with a special performance by the choir and our Easter raffle!
