Year 5’s Final Week
One of the highlights on the week was the Young Speakers Challenge, where students had the chance to showcase their public speaking skills. The finalists—Herani, Isaac, and Emily—all delivered impressive performances about our Catholic Social Teaching of Human Dignity. Congratulations to Herani who won the grand prize, making everyone incredibly proud!
The students also enjoyed a fantastic performance by the Capital City College, who brought to life the timeless stories of Charles Dickens. It was a captivating performance that combined history and drama, leaving the audience amazed!
Year 5 also had the opportunity to take a trip with London Heritage to Whittington Stone, learning about the rich history of the area and its significance. It was an educational and fun experience for all!
Lastly, Indigo Class welcomed a special visitor from CAFOD, who shared inspiring stories about their work supporting communities in need. The students learned about how they can make a difference in the world.
