These activities can all be found on our school website. Go to ‘Year Groups’ and look under your child’s specific year group. The activities are located under ‘Home Learning’. If you feel the work is too hard, look at the previous year group. If you feel the work is too easy, look at the next year group up.
For each year group there are sets of English and Maths activities. These are broken down into:
- Home Learning Pack -a series of English and Maths activities for children to complete.
- Home Learning Pack Guidance – the answers to the Home Learning Pack questions!
- Practical Ideas – other activities for children to try.
For Years 1 – 6 there are also two pages of ‘Power Projects’. These are activities from across the curriculum, linked to the theme of your child’s next topic which they will be studying after Easter. By completing these activities, your child will be in an excellent position to begin studying their new topic next term.
Children also have free access to Doodle Maths, Times Tables Rock Stars and Phonics Play to supplement these activities.
Individual year groups are also engaging in activities set by teachers as usual. Please look at the class blogs for updates.
Please also remember to provide opportunities for your child to read daily, keep abreast of current affairs (age appropriately of course) and engage in some type of physical activity.
